The site of the Red Seventh Army’s rendezvous at Banzhai is located in Banzhai Village, Libo County. The entrance plaque of the memorial hall is inscribed by the centenarian General Wu Xi. The memorial hall for the Red Seventh Army’s rendezvous at Banzhai has been recognized as a Guizhou Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Unit and a Patriotism Education Demonstration Base.

During the rendezvous of the Red Seventh Army at Banzhai, a mass meeting was held to carry out revolutionary propaganda, disseminate the political propositions of the Red Army to the public, and write revolutionary slogans to expand the influence of the Red Army. Additionally, a timely meeting of the Front Committee was convened, deciding to attack Rongjiang, an important military supply base of the Qian Army. This decision was of great significance for expanding the political influence of the Red Seventh Army and replenishing its combat strength.

The site of the Red Seventh Army’s rendezvous at Banzhai stands as a historical witness to the Red Army’s first entry into Guizhou. Today, the revolutionary deeds of the Red Seventh Army are celebrated in this land, with the red legacy being passed down through generations.
