The Yunwu Bridge of Duyun-Anshun Expressway, located in Baigu Village, Yunwu Town, Guiding County, Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, spans over the Old Cotton River and is a key control project for the Duyun-Anshun Expressway.

The main bridge features a double-tower, double-plane, steel-concrete composite beam cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 480 meters and a total length of 1,720 meters. The main towers are designed as folded H-shaped reinforced concrete structures, with the bridge tower on the Anshun bank standing at 300 meters tall, making it currently the tallest of its kind in the world in the “folded H” category. During construction, an intelligent temperature control system for large size, ultra-thickness, and large volume concrete was developed, allowing for the one-time casting of the main tower base, saving over 20 days of construction time.

Upon completion, the bridge has significantly contributed to the development of the local tea industry by facilitating easier transportation of tea leaves and promoting the integration of tea and tourism, which has opened new avenues of development for local communities. The Yunwu Bridge not only brings developmental changes to its immediate area but also strengthens the connection among the three southwestern provinces, further reducing the spatial-temporal distance between the southwestern region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This, in turn, effectively promotes high-quality economic and social development along the route.
