Chishui National Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Guizhou Province, covering an area of 1801 square kilometers. It is an influential gateway from northern Guizhou to Bashu, bordering south Sichuan and Chongqing in the east. Chishui National Scenic Area is the only national scenic area named by the State Council with the name of the administrative region. Tourism resources are very distinct in part, comprising both natural and ecological and historical and cultural resources.

The main landscapes in the Chishui National Scenic Area are waterfalls, bamboo forests, spinulose tree ferns, Danxia landforms, primitive forests, and other natural landscapes. In addition, there is an ancient human cultural scene and the remains of the Red Army’s Long March. It is praised as “the city of thousands of waterfalls “, “the crown of Danxia”, “the home of bamboo” , “the kingdom of spinulose tree ferns”, and “the relics of the Long March”.

There are many beautiful natural landscapes, such as Shizhangdong waterfall, Zhongdong waterfall, Qibing ancient road, Rotating stone wonders, Xiangxi lake, Hundred-acre camellia, Stalagmites peak, Billion years Ganoderma lucidum, Huishui Temple Moyan statues, Red army slogans and so on. All those attractive spots make it a must-go destination for visitors when they get there.
