Zhangbu Scenic Area is in Pingtang County and is the first National 4A-level tourist scenic area in Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The main body of the scenic spot is the canyon of the Langma River, an upstream tributary of the Caodu River.

Due to changes in the rock formations and river flow, the canyon has various structures, such as oblique, parallel and transverse. The canyon is surrounded by cliffs, peaks and strange rocks, with numerous caves and distinct karst landform features. Its geological wonders are unique and the natural scenery is charming. There are seven amazing landscapes named “Strange Mountains, Strange Waters, Strange Rocks, Strange Caves, Strange Bamboo, Strange Trees, and Strange Fish” tourists.
