Libo Ancient Town is located on the south gate dam of Jianshe Village in Yuping Town, Libo County, Guizhou Province. It is an ethnic cultural tourism complex project that integrates Chinese classical architecture, garden art, and heritage.

Due to its ethnic and tourism elements, Libo Ancient Town is composed of four villages, one street, one park, one station, and two sightseeing routes. These form the core tourism area of Libo Ancient Town. The four villages are “Shui Tribe”, “Buyi Water Town”, “Yao Tribe”, and “Miao Village”, representing the largest ethnic tribes in Libo County and the essence of Libo County’s distinct culture.

“The Bar Street of Ancient Town” is a leisure and entertainment place created specifically for tourists. “Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Park” is a place where tourists can see world-class, national, provincial, and regional intangible cultural heritage projects, all passed down orally by inheritors on-site, allowing visitors to experience the richness and magic of China’s intangible cultural heritage.

“Ancient Post Station” is a place where food, lodging, and horse-changing were provided to people traveling long distances in ancient times. The ancient post station of Libo Ancient Town is a relatively concentrated area of medium and small hotels and inns.
