The Duyun Qin and Han Studio City is in the Duyun Economic Development Zone, Guizhou Province. It is a comprehensive studio industry project integrating film and television creation and production, cultural tourism, creative interaction, ancient costume and ornament production and leasing, leisure sightseeing, vacation tourism, and cultural tourism industries. It is one of the three major studio bases in the Duyun Economic Development Zone.

The project was launched in March 2016 and was initially completed in July 2017. It consists of six areas and 230 buildings, with its scale, layout, and architectural style constructed based on historical records and expert research to maximize the restoration of the architectural style of the Qin and Han dynasties. In recent years, the site has been chosen as the filming location for several popular Chinese TV series and films, such as “Joy of life” and “The Untamed,” making it gradually known to the public.

Covering a total area of more than 900 acres, the studio maximally restores the ancient style of the buildings in the Qin and Han dynasties to meet the various TV crews’ shooting needs. One of the main tourist attractions inside – the Weiyang Palace – is currently the world’s largest Han Dynasty palace, often swarmed by tourists.
