Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is located in the northeast of Leishan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, at the foot of the Leigong Mountain. More than ten natural villages built along the mountains are connected in a cluster, making it the largest Miao ethnic settlement in China and even in the world. It is the preferred place to appreciate and understand the long history and development of the Miao people.

The terrain where Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is located is a typical river valley. The transparent Baishui River flows through the village, and the main part of Miao Village is located on the slope of the river valley to the northeast. Due to the limitations of arable land resources, the Miao residents living here have fully utilized the topographical features here and built uniquely designed stilted buildings on the hillsides. With the changes in the terrain, thousands of stilted buildings are arranged in tiers, presenting a spectacular sight.

The relatively closed terrain conditions, harmonious Miao villages, clear and enticing Baishui River, lush vegetation cover, and large areas of terraced landscapes together form a striking Miaoling mountain and water landscape, with significant tourism aesthetics and development value.
